The Yard Gard
The name of our company is The Yard Gard, LLC. We are a registered and licensed Organic Tick and Mosquito Control service business that is incorporated under the law of the United States of America. Although our core business activities will always be carried out on the field /site, our office is centrally located on Cape Cod strategically off of Sation Ave in South Yarmouth, MA.
We are set to service Cape Cod in its entirety including residential and commercial accounts alike.
Our service offering to our highly-esteemed customers as an Organic Flea, Tick, and Mosquito Control Company will revolve around an annual program eradicating and repelling fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, gnats, and Japanese beetles as well as any other outside pests with an exoskeleton. We also offer a One-Time application as an Event Spray for their entire property as well.
John Guariano - Founder/Owner
John Guariano got started in the Green Industry as a lawn technician back in 2008 with what was a small family owned business. As the number of clients grew, so did his advancement in that company securing him as vice-president of operations. He managed four General Managers in as many branches which were in 2 states, Massachusetts (3 branches) and Connecticut (1 branch). In June 2015, the owners of that family lawn care company sold their company to the largest lawn care company in the world. He moved to the Cape (Cape Cod) or rather returned as he went to 4 C’s (Cape Cod Community College there because the owners of his now sold company were re-branding and launching a new lawn care company there. Without hesitation, he successfully launched the brand-new company.
I was lucky enough to join a fantastic networking group on The Cape and met several company owners. Hearing their stories inspired him to follow their lead and launch his own company! By doing so he could really set the stage for something that he believed in like his passion for superior customer service, and the use of more eco-friendly products.
Corey McKinstry -
Lead Technician
Corey has nearly a decade of experience in the industry and has worked with John for several years in the recent past. Corey is a huge asset and we are really lucky to have him as he brings his industry knowledge, positive attitude, and client advocacy.
Corey is a Massachusetts Certified Applicator. Starting his career as an aeration technician and quickly becoming one of their company's most valuable assets; Corey is a master of his craft and works tirelessly to make sure that his clients are completely satisfied. As an employee at his last lawn care company, Corey continued to amaze and delight his customers with his education, knowledge, and soft-spoken manner.
We feel confident that he will make a great addition to The Yard Gard Family and we trust that you will think so too!
Chad Struble
Technician
Chad Struble joins our team coming from the Hospitality and Service industry.
He is eager to help protect our client’s, their loved ones, and properties from unwanted pests. He is both a father and team player and speaks through experience as a someone who has fought Lyme’s disease himself.
With decades of both customer and management experience he is driven to make his clients happy and safe from pests and the diseases that they carry.
